Interchange is coming up quickly and we want to make sure you're prepared. Here is a basic packing list:

Ivanti Swag

Bring everything you have that says Ivanti on it. Why? Well, other than a chance to win an “Ivanti Swag Selfie” Twitter contest (scroll down to see the full contest), our Ivanti branding is only in its second year. We would love to see it everywhere at the conference.

Game Face

This can also be called “beast mode,” and it means you’re coming in ready to learn from peers and mentors, to make new friends in the industry, and to network, network, network. Your LinkedIn profile will thank you.

We want you to get the most out of the conference, so come in like a sponge ready to soak up as much information as possible.

Electronic Devices

Laptops, phones, iPads... bring everything you use to keep yourself connected to the outside world in this wonderful digital age. If you're still rocking a PalmPilot, bring that too. And while you're at it:

Download the Interchange 2018 App

The app is your personal assistant at the conference. You'll find your conference schedule, breakout session and hands-on lab descriptions, speaker information, evening event details, and more.

But it's not all business. It's also quite interactive and socially-savvy, too. You can:

  • Follow and direct message other conference attendees
  • Post pictures to the main conference page (preferably wearing Ivanti swag...)
  • Answer poll questions
  • Access the map
  • Play a super awesome scavenger hunt and win prizes

Don't get us wrong, we want you to mix and mingle at the conference. But we also want you to spend a decent amount of time staring down at the Interchange app on your phone.

Social Media: Use hashtag #interchange18 and tag @GoIvanti

Speaking of staring down at your phone—also known as "text neck"—we encourage all conference attendees to take as many pictures as possible using the hashtag #interchange18. Any posts on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter with this hashtag will feed into our social wall during keynotes. You will get several seconds of fame in front of nearly 800 people. This could be your big break.
