ITSM Transformation at a Leading Children’s Hospital
A leading UK children’s hospital has used Ivanti for five years to automate their “joiners, movers and leavers” process, which has streamlined their operations due to high staff turnover, including 500 student nurses and 1500 volunteers. This automation has not only saved costs – they estimate it would take four FTEs to handle this process manually – but it has also improved accuracy in provisioning access for new staff and disabling access for departing staff.
More recently, the hospital has implemented other innovative IT projects, such as a patient bedside digitization initiative, which allows patients to access entertainment, communicate with family and clinicians, and even participate in educational projects.
