Ivanti Automation 2020.1 coming soon 

The next release for Ivanti Automation is scheduled to be available at the end of April. This new release promises several performance improvements, along with administration and security enhancements to continue simplifying the automation and management of your infrastructure. 

Some of the new capability in the 2020.1 release will include data compression capabilities, query optimization and other performance improvements. Administrators will enjoy new features making it easier to invoke Web Services and check configuration settings. You’ll also be able to further mitigate security risks with support for secure LDAP calls and authentication enhancements. 

More information on the upcoming release will be available when the Release Notes are published with 2020.1’s availability. New Good Patch Reporting 

Recently Endpoint Security for Endpoint Manager released the new “Good Patch” report. This new reporting allows Admins to see which patches were successfully installed. Additionally, the report also validates any application affected by the patch is performing as expected.

Introducing Ivanti Advantage Learning 

We’re excited to announce significant changes to Ivanti Global Academy! Today, Global Academy is renaming to Ivanti Advantage Learning. You will begin to see these changes, and others, in coming days in the website, course content, and throughout our interactions with you.  

You will continue to receive high quality and expanding product training as we make these changes. You will also see additional training options and a much-improved user experience in the months ahead.    

Starting in April, Ivanti customers can purchase Advantage Learning in two learning products: Learning Online or Learning Live.  

  • Learning Online includes on-demand training: eLearnings, Videos, Blended Learning, Momentum and webinars.
  • Learning Live consists of instructor-led public and private training, either remote or in a classroom.  

Many of these changes come from our close partnership with you and listening to your needs. 


IT Service Management

Ivanti Service Manager Release 2020.1 now available 

We’re excited to announce the availability of Service Manager 2020.1 release for both cloud and on-premises deployments. This new release makes it easier for Service Manager to support non-IT scenarios with new pre-packaged content to automate more Human Resources process and workflows. Your analysts will also like to hear about the new capabilities in the Mobile app so they can be more productive while on the go. Also look for additional Single Sign-On (SSO) options to further reduce administration requirements, along with increased compatibility and integration with Microsoft solutions.

More Analyst Capabilities for the Service Manager Mobile App 

Keep you analysts’ productivity high while they’re on the go with the mobile app for Service Manager. Building on previous capabilities, your analysts can now create new Incidents and update existing ones. They can also create new and update existing Tasks, making it easier to stay connected when working remotely. 

Download the mobile app from the Apple AppStore or Google Play for either cloud or on-premises deployments of Service Manager. Existing Service Manager customers already using the mobile app can apply a package available in the Ivanti Marketplace to add these new capabilities.

User Workspace Manager (UWM) 2020.1 

User Workspace Manager also continues to improve the experience of admins and end-users in today’s digital workspace with key updates in the following areas: 

  • Enhanced native language support for key UWM management components and end-user dialogs: Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Japanese, and German. 
  • Box storage connector for File Director helps you gain visibility, ownership, and granular Admin control over user data in the IT environment. Sync data from On-Prem to Box storage using the File Director sync engine and policy management to reduce storage costs and maintain continuous local backup.
