Across Europe, organizations are navigating a rapidly changing cybersecurity and regulatory landscape. Customers are seeking solutions that help them strengthen resilience, simplify operations and meet evolving compliance expectations while supporting the flexibility and scale modern enterprises require.

At Ivanti, this shift is shaping how we prioritize investment, innovation and certification efforts. As part of that ongoing strategy, Ivanti has made the decision to withdraw Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile (EPMM) from its current certification process (certification ID BSI-DSZ-CC-1241). This decision does not change our commitment to supporting customers in Europe. Rather, it reflects where our customers’ needs, market demand and regulatory frameworks are moving: toward modern, cloud-connected and AI-enabled solutions designed for consistency, scalability, auditability and resilience.

Aligning Certification Priorities with Customer Needs

The market for standalone, on-premises endpoint management products continues to contract as organizations accelerate cloud adoption. Increasingly, customers are prioritizing solutions that provide centralized management, consistent security controls, improved visibility and the ability to adapt to changing compliance requirements across regulated environments – even faster in Europe than other regions.

In that context, continuing to pursue certification for an on-premises product no longer aligns with the primary needs we are hearing from a growing majority of EU customers or with Ivanti’s strategic focus. Instead, we believe our certification efforts are best directed toward cloud-connected and sovereign cloud solutions that reflect the future of secure, compliant endpoint management.

Focusing on Cloud-Connected and AI-Enabled Innovation

Cloud-connected and AI-enabled solutions are helping organizations improve operational efficiency, strengthen security posture and respond more effectively to emerging risks. These solutions provide a more consistent foundation for security controls, centralized management, auditability and resilience than traditional deployment models that depend heavily on customer-managed infrastructure and environment-specific operational practices.

Ivanti’s strategy is to continue investing in solutions that help organizations securely manage and protect their technology environments while supporting innovation and compliance. As cloud certification frameworks mature in Europe, including the European Cybersecurity Certification Scheme for Cloud Services (EUCS), Ivanti intends to evaluate and invest in relevant certification opportunities for cloud-connected offerings across our portfolio.

Continuing Our Commitment to the European Market

Ivanti remains committed to supporting European customers, meeting applicable EU regulatory requirements and delivering solutions that help organizations operate securely and compliantly. Our work in Europe continues to be guided by customer needs, regulatory expectations and the importance of trust, transparency and resilience.

One example of this commitment is Ivanti Neurons for MDM – Sovereign Edition – EU. Purpose-built for European organizations and public institutions, this cloud-sovereign offering enables centralized device management while supporting European requirements for data protection, legal jurisdiction, auditability and operational control.

Delivered in partnership with sector27, the offering provides the functionality of Ivanti Neurons for MDM through an EU-based Sovereign Cloud instance operated independently by sector27. This model is designed to help ensure that data and application traffic remain within the region and under EU legal protection, while supporting the sovereignty, compliance and resilience requirements of public institutions, critical infrastructure operators and regulated industries.

Looking Ahead

Ivanti values the role that certification bodies such as BSI play in supporting trusted cybersecurity and compliance standards. As Europe’s cloud certification frameworks continue to mature, we look forward to engaging and investing in opportunities that align with the solutions our customers are adopting and the regulatory requirements they must meet.

Our focus remains clear: delivering modern, secure and resilient solutions that help customers manage complexity, strengthen compliance and move confidently into the future of work.
