June Patch Tuesday
10. Juni 2026
Today, we are in the Patch Apocalypse. The Patch Apocalypse is now. New records are being broken left and right. Google Chrome resolved a record 429 CVEs in the Chrome release on June 3. Microsoft resolved 198 CVEs in the June Patch Tuesday release, setting a new high (previously October 2025 resolving 175 CVEs). The newest generation of AI security LLMs are enabling faster discovery and exploitation of exposures in applications than previously possible. June includes updates from Adobe, Google, and Microsoft, but comes with a tail of 80+ security updates for common applications and tools used by companies on a daily basis in the past month that resolve hundreds of additional CVEs. Your top priorities this month are the Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge updates that resolve a zero-day exploit (CVE-2026-11645), followed by the Windows OS update which resolved 110+ CVEs and included three publicly disclosed vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-50507, CVE-2026-49160, CVE-2026-45586).
