ASP Names LANDESK Top Ten Best Support Site Winner

Support Site Empowers Users with Wide Range of Capabilities

SALT LAKE CITY — 23. Juni 2015 —

LANDESK today announced that The Association of Support Professionals (ASP) has selected LANDESK as a winner of this year’s “Top Ten Best Support Sites” in the industry. This competition honors companies that showcase excellence in online service and support.

LANDESK was honored in the Small Company division for its community support site and its customer portal, which brings LANDESK users a wide range of capability that enables them to resolve any questions they may have while using LANDESK products. Along with a new, more mobile-friendly design, this site now integrates the support portal and the forums through a single sign-in.

This site allows customers to search for steps to resolve known requests, leaving the support team with more time to diagnose and solve new issues. It also enables a network of skilled people to collaborate together to answer questions. Now when customers do request more direct assistance from support, it is routed directly to the appropriate team.

"As web support continues to evolve rapidly, we constantly update our scoring criteria to reflect industry trends," said ASP executive director Al Hahn. “This year we put emphasis on how a site supports external communities and mobile devices. The award winners were selected by a panel of 90 judges with expertise in web support design and implementation, using a scoring system based on 25 separate performance criteria. The evaluation process covered overall usability, design and navigation; knowledgebase and search implementation; interactive features; community engagement and the major site development challenge.
