If you’ve been following along on the AppSense blog and social media channels lately, you’ve likely seen us talking about our partners as much as ourselves. Solution providers and technology alliance partners play an essential role in our business, and the AppSense team has been blanketing the globe to drive even more shared success with our partners.

Last week kicked off with AppSense Elevate conference, an inaugural US event focuson our channel partners, and the momentum continued to build as AppSense University, our EMEA partner event, kicked into to gear later in the week. Both events were overwhelming successes. Our partners learned a great deal about our business and technology, but as importantly, we learned a great deal from our partners about how we can continually do even more to make them and their customers successful.

We’re very thankful to our sponsors, Citrix, VMware, Nutanix and Dell, who made it possible to bring everyone together under one roof to highlight how, together, we can deliver superior desktop and application virtualization solutions to our joint customers.

AppSense Elevate and University were high profile events, but they are actually just two examples of our ongoing activities with our partners. For example, two weeks ago we were at HIMSS with our key healthcare partners such as Coretek Services and Spadafy. Last week, we sponsored the CSC Techcom event. And this week, we’ll be presenting on Accenture’s Workspace Virtualization Webinar Series.

Done? Not a chance!

AppSense’s user-first approach to workspace management makes us a natural partner for anyone delivering enterprise solutions where complexity can be measured in any one of four main areas:

Scalability- Our customer’s have discovered that when they reach 500 users things start to go a bit pear-shaped in their environments. AppSense helps them tackle these new challenges with proven scalability to 10s, even 100s of thousands of users.

Application Management- Supporting and managing a diverse application portfolio is full of headaches that often compound exponentially, and it’s hard to account for all the variables. We can provide the tools for teams to manage hundreds of applications.

Heterogeneity- From mergers and acquisitions to new ways of desktop and application delivery, it’s inevitable you’ll have a mixed environment at some point. With AppSense, you can be sure you have a solution that works across all possible delivery mechanisms: physical, virtual, streamed, provisioned, applications, desktops, etc…

Image Management- Our on-demand approach of delivering a user’s profile, policy and data at various session trigger points allows you to reduce your number of gold images drastically. Plus, with our license control features you can include those enterprise editions of software packages in your image with the cost of an arm and a leg.

Overall, we are committed to working with our partners to create and deliver the best enterprise technologies for our customers.

Lastly, I’m delighted Jed Ayres has joined AppSense marketing. With his extensive channel experience and focus on partners, you can be sure that our focus and investment in the UEM partner ecosystem will only grow.
