They are industry experts with extensive experience, but they’re also marathoners, musicians, parents and spouses. They work really hard—traveling the world a good portion of their time—to make sure that every Ivanti customer and employee knows they’re part of a team that is changing the IT world.

CEO & Chairman of the Board
Steve Daly is responsible for Ivanti’s business strategy, innovation, product direction, and potential acquisition opportunities.
Steve served as SVP of Corporate Strategy for Avocent Corporation from 2003 through December 2006 and was responsible for driving strategic planning and business development. He previously served as President and CEO of Soronti Inc., a remote management vendor acquired by Avocent in 2003. Before Soronti, Steve held various marketing and finance positions at Intel Corporation and was director of marketing for the LANDESK Systems Management division of Intel.
Steve holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Brigham Young University.
President & Chief Operating Officer
As President & COO of Ivanti, Scott Sorensen is responsible for the operational excellence of the company including G&A, information technology, and customer success teams.
Prior to joining Ivanti, Scott was CEO of Sorenson Holdings. He has also held executive-level positions at Headwaters, Hillenbrand Industries, Pliant Corporation, Westinghouse Electric Corporation / CBS, and McKinsey & Company.
Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Utah and his MBA from the Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the National Advisory Council for the BYU Marriott School of Business. In addition, Scott is a member of the Board of Directors of Wabash National Corporation.
Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
As EVP and CTO, Tom Davis is responsible for driving the creation of new IT and mobility management solutions and setting and executing the direction of Ivanti engineering teams, including architecture oversight, engineering processes, product testing, and project management.
At Celio Corporation, Tom served as CEO where he was instrumental in transforming the company from a hardware business to software for mobile computing devices. Previously at Celio he was EVP of engineering and collaborated with senior executives to formulate the company strategy roadmap. He’s also served as VP and Chief Platform Architect at Avocent Corporation, VP of Engineering at LANDESK Software, and 11 years at Intel Corporation where he served as Engineering Director and CTO of the Software Products and Services Division.
Tom holds a B.S. in Electronics Engineering technology from Brigham Young University, with continued education at Cal Berkley and Cal Tech. He also served in the United States Air Force and was an honors graduate of the USAF Technical Training.
Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
As EVP and CMO, Steve Morton provides guidance on Ivanti's strategic marketing and branding initiatives, including the integration of acquisitions like Wavelink, AppSense, and Shavlik into the company.
Prior to Ivanti, Steve served as CMO of RES Software and also served as the VP of Product Marketing for Symantec's enterprise product portfolio. In his role at Symantec he was involved in global outbound marketing, including messaging, marketing campaigns, and industry analyst relations. Prior to taking on the global product marketing role, Steve was VP of Product Management for Symantec's endpoint management business, which included the Altiris product portfolio. He has also served in various product, marketing, and services roles at other IT companies, including Peregrine Systems and Folio Corporation.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado.
Executive Vice President of Global Software Sales
As EVP of Global Software Sales at Ivanti, Mitch Rowe is responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing market share. He assesses market potential and identifies new business opportunities and synergies, and builds successful go-to-market sales teams and partner programs.
Mitch served as SVP of Global Software Sales at Pitney Bowes, where he was responsible for GIS, Geocoding, Enterprise Location Intelligence, and Customer Information Management Products & Solutions. He previously served as GM/VP of Worldwide Software Sales at Infor Global Solutions where he was responsible for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). He was also VP of Software Sales at Applied Materials and at Brooks Automation.
Mitch has over 15 years of experience managing global software sales teams. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, holds a bachelor's degree in Business and Chinese from the University of Utah, and earned an MBA from Utah State University.
Vice President of Human Resources
Joining Ivanti (then LANDESK) in 2011, Sue Urses has more than 25 years of HR experience, nine of them in high technology. She has global responsibility for Ivanti human resource strategy and functions in nearly 20 countries.
Prior to Ivanti, Sue was Director of HR for IM Flash Technologies, an Intel/Micron joint venture, and also served in key HR roles in the contract security and staffing industries. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Sue was appointed by Utah Governor Gary Herbert as a business-representative member of the UtahFutures.org Steering Committee. She also serves as an HR advisor and board member for the non-profit Work Activity Center that assists people with disabilities, plus she co-chairs the Human Resources Forum for the Utah Technology Council.
Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Planning
Steve Workman oversees the Ivanti corporate strategy and planning process that identifies emerging competitive and market trends and aligns the organization to achieve strategic growth objectives (i.e. he helps us identify companies to buy).
As VP of Product Management for LANDESK from its spinout from Intel in 2002, Steve drove the product strategy and integration of systems, security, and service management product lines and identified additional business line opportunities that resulted in several key acquisitions.
Before LANDESK and now Ivanti, Steve held numerous product management and marketing positions at organizations including Intel, Dayna Communications, and Emerson Electric. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from California State University, Fullerton.
