On December 11, AppSense, in conjunction with Health Data Management, hosted a live webinar on Improving Clinical Productivity in a Multi-Platform Environment. The webinar featured Nick Volosin, CTO of Alameda Health System, who discussed how technology can be deployed to improve clinical productivity in a multi-platform environment, while at the same time maintain security of protected health information. We were also joined by Senior Strategist, Brian Gunnell, from VMware, a seasoned infrastructure veteran and very active in the healthcare industry who talked about transforming the cost, quality and delivery of patient care.

The webinar also highlighted the findings from a research study conducted in August 2014 on the same topic which is now available for download. Over 200 healthcare IT respondents were surveyed on critical areas that could improve the user experience and boost productivity, including application response times, virtual desktops and consistency in appearance and functionality across different access devices.
