At AppSense we try to educate our audience through a regular cadence of webinars on various aspects of user environment management. I am particularly excited about our upcoming security webinar on reducing surface of attack through application control and privilege management. Breaches are becoming increasingly public and increasingly damaging to companies' brands — additional steps must be taken sooner rather than later.

To discuss this important topic, I am very pleased to have two esteemed guest speakers. Chris Sherman is Forrester’s leading analyst for security and he advises enterprises about their endpoint strategies on a daily basis. He has also written some excellent research reports on securing devices, including life in post-AV era. Our second speaker is Dan O’Farrell, who heads up product marketing for all things virtual at Dell and has deep insight into security and compliance issues with healthcare, finance and retail organizations.

We promise this webinar will not only be educational, but will also provide actionable information. Chris will talk about five design principles for an effective endpoint security strategy. He will advise on ways to reduce endpoint attack surface while accommodating and managing the influx of new device types and data access technologies. Dan will discuss how security plays a key role in VDI and is one of the key drivers for deploying virtual desktops. We will have plenty of time at the end for your questions.

Please join us on Wednesday, May 20th at 8AM PT / 11AM ET / 4PM GMT.
